Product Description

2BV2, 2BV5, are suitable for pumping dry and wet gases, mainly non-flammable, non-corrosive atmospheres and atmospheric/vapor mixtures. 2BV6 is suitable for pumping flammable and explosive gases and for flammable and explosive working environments. The working fluid is usually water. Stainless steel pumps are suitable for applications with more demanding corrosion and sanitary requirements. 2BV vacuum pumps are used in the rough vacuum range and the ultimate vacuum is determined by the saturated vapor pressure of the working fluid.
Ultimate vacuum

The ultimate vacuum depends on the working temperature and the type of working fluid used. Please note the following points: a pump without cavitation protection, suction pressure must not be less than 80 mbar, this is to avoid the water temperature of 15 ºC, the temperature of the pumped dry air at 20 ºC in the pump caused by cavitation, the higher the temperature, depending on the working fluid saturated vapor pressure, the minimum suction pressure allowed will also be higher. The higher the temperature, the lower the suction capacity. Note: 2BV vacuum pumps operating for a long time under the minimum allowable suction pressure will cause damage to the pump.

Maximum exhaust pressure
The maximum allowable exhaust pressure is 1200 mbar for 2BV2 vacuum pumps and 1300 mbar for 2BV5 and 2BV6 vacuum pumps when using working fluid according to the flow rate in the table.

Pumped gases or vapors
The pumped gas or gas/vapor mixture is not allowed to contain solid particles, but a small amount of suspended matter or liquid is allowed. Table 2 shows the maximum amount of water allowed to be drawn in from the suction flange. When pumping hot gases or steam above 80°C, it is recommended to use 2 times the standard flow rate of working fluid

2BV series products have the feature of strong suction capacity under high vacuum, which is the ideal vacuum pump for paper, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

6. The unique design of the discharge port can protect the pump from the over-pressure to ensure the best efficiency.
